Borlase’s Strictly Come Dancing is always the highlight of everyone's year. Before the competition, everyone was assigned a partner and a dance. Either Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, or Jive! Then, using the dance movements and steps that our amazing dance teacher Mrs Robinson had taught us, each pair created and choreographed their own dance. In the heat, each pair got a score, and the highest score from each category went through to the finals. The finals consisted of each pair performing their dance to the 4 judges, who decided another 1 pair from each category to go into the grand final. The three lucky pairs then performed their dances again, and while the judges went outside to think about who should win the glitterball trophy, we got a magical performance from 2 talented A-Level students, Max and Izzy. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and when the time came to announce the winners, we were thrilled to find out we would go home with the trophy. Thank you everyone who was involved with the amazing night.
