Welcome to Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, a state-funded, co-educational secondary school in the centre of Marlow, recognised not only for excellent academic learning and outcomes but also for our outstanding co-curricular programme. Since the school was founded in 1624, we have continued to live the school's motto, te signa sequere (follow things worthy), inspiring and empowering our students to go out and shape the world.

Prophesying the end of the world (kinda), but also some of the options by which we might be saved, this year's STEM Fayre showcased one again the incredible research and imagination of our Year 7 scientists. This year's displays featured: A 3D printed wind tunnel testing different aerofoil designs, Eggs, soaked in various liquids with the results observed, Warnings about the prevalence of microplastics and what we can do to reduce their creation, Working models of lungs, An exploration of black holes, and A "delicious" menu of alternative protein sources...
