On Thursday 14th November, the Performing Arts Department held our annual Rocktober event, despite actually being in November! The year 12 and 13 Technical Theatre students put so much effort into transforming the theatre into a rock-style arena, with atmospheric lighting and sound. We saw an array of different Borlase bands, from a newly formed year 7 band ‘The Band Boys’ first ever performance, to a year 13 band ‘Incognito’ closing the show on their last ever Rocktober. All bands put on such brilliant performances, one of which featured a special tribute to our technician Mrs Chislett who left earlier in the year. The event sought renditions of Wonderwall, Take Me Out and Red Wine Supernova to name a few; all of which were very well received by the lively audience.

Well done to all performers and thank you to everyone who came to support the event!
